Most bad trades come from two things: not knowing what an item is worth, and trusting the wrong person. Here is how to avoid both in Attack on Titan Revolution.
1. Check the value before you say yes
Look up every item in the trade on the AOTR value list. Each item has its own page with its value in Viz and Scrolls, its demand and a value history chart, so you can see if it is going up or down.
Then put both sides into the trade calculator. It shows WIN, FAIR or LOSE. A trade is FAIR when both sides are within 10% of each other.
2. Value is not everything: watch demand
A high-value item with very low demand can be hard to trade away later. Items with demand 7/10 or higher are easier to move. If a trade looks like a big WIN, ask yourself why the other player is offering it.
3. Never give first to a stranger
- Do the trade inside the game only. Never send items, Robux or account details outside of it.
- Do not accept "you go first, then I'll send mine". That is the most common scam.
- Nobody from staff will ever ask for your password or items. Anyone who does is a scammer.
- Ignore links that promise free Robux, free items or "value checks" on other sites. Our trade chat blocks links for this reason (Roblox links are still allowed).
4. Use the trading board
On AOTR Trading you post what you have and what you want, other players send offers, and when you accept you get a private chat with timestamps. Before you meet in game, check that the Roblox username in the chat matches the player you trade with.
5. Report problems
If someone tries to scam you, use Report on their trade or in the chat menu. Staff can read reported chats and ban scammers from the trading board.
